Creates an icon file from an image.

Syntax

New-ImageIcon
[-FilePath] <String>
[-Open]
[-OutputPath] <String>
[-Size <Int32[]>]
[<CommonParameters>]

Parameter set: All Parameter Sets

Description

Generates multiple icon sizes using Size.

Examples

Create 16x16 and 32x32 icons

New-ImageIcon -FilePath in.png -OutputPath icon.ico -Size 16,32

Parameters

-FilePath String requiredposition: 0pipeline: True (ByValue)
The file must exist.
-Open SwitchParameter optional
Open the icon after saving.
-OutputPath String requiredposition: 1
Destination icon file.
-Size Int32[] optional
Defaults to common icon sizes when empty.

Common Parameters

This command supports the common parameters: -Debug, -ErrorAction, -ErrorVariable, -InformationAction, -InformationVariable, -OutVariable, -OutBuffer, -PipelineVariable, -Verbose, -WarningAction, and -WarningVariable.
