Windows 10 – No prompt to overwrite when pasting from .zip file

I just had a weird situation where I was pasting multiple folders and those folders were already in destination. Normally Windows 10 and all earlier versions would prompt you for overwrite but it didn't. It overwrote them just like they never existed before.

Standard behavior

That's how it normally looks like…

Broken (ZIP) behavior

And that's how it behaves when copying directly from ZIP file. No prompts.. just copy.

What's the fix? There is none… just the way it is. I have reported this to Feedback HUB and hopefully it will be fixed or at least explained.
